M.E. Properties in Morgantown, WV, is looking for a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be dependable with well-rounded handyman skills, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team setting.

The maintenance crew is responsible for completing routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance of assigned apartment units at multiple property locations around the Morgantown area. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous home or apartment maintenance experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle (required).
• Some evening and weekend on-call availability (required).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle a wide range of handyman tasks involved with general home maintenance.
• Respond quickly to resident-requested work orders as well as after-hours emergencies.
• Take pride in preparing apartments for new tenants.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical duties.
• Perform basic painting, caulking, and drywall work.
• Handle installation and minor repairs of appliances.
• Minor carpentry repairs.
• Maintain the exterior buildings and grounds.
• Other general and grounds maintenance tasks as requested.
• Travel between multiple property locations around town during your shift.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
